A friend from our Erasmus days in France has visited us these days. Not much has changed between us. Apart from two or three more wrinkles on the face and perhaps a few grey hairs. We really enjoy our conversations. He has few people in his field who are entrepreneurs and I think the same. It is different to discuss entrepreneurial topics who empathize with what you say because they experience it first hand.
His entrepreneurial story is driven by me
In fact, he told me this today when we went out for a run in the morning. “If it hadn’t been for you and asking me to start a company together, I wouldn’t have started entrepreneurship.” He was born in eastern Germany where entrepreneurship has not overseas data been something that people have taken into account, but rather the opposite.
Before spending these days with us, he had a week of excessive work. On the last day he spent working until six in the morning to get up three hours later and catch the train to us.
My strong point is not to get work done all at once because that is not my philosophy either
I’ve been writing this blog for almost 15 years.
I have a streak of 1,819 days on Duolingo.
I’ve been training with Freeletics for almost 10 years.
I don’t spend a lot of time on any of the above.
It takes me less than 30 minutes to write a post.
Duolingo is on average three minutes a day.
Freeletics workouts are 30-45 minutes.
I’m all about working for a long time. It’s not this helps you understand how your about what you can do once but rather what you can repeat without burning out.
Don’t let the snake break. That’s what’s important. When you fail once you can lose habits that build you and give you the stability you need.
It’s not motivation or discipline, it’s more about who you are
The essential question for me is this. What is so powerful thailand data for you that it moves you? It has something to do with how you define yourself. If there is a discrepancy between who you are and what you do, you will not be able to maintain it for a long time because it will turn you into a highly unhappy person. Doing it instead is like the attraction of the irresistible force of two magnets.
If you are a painter, you paint pictures. Doing it for eight hours or more every day will not matter to you. Quite the opposite.
If you are a runner, you go out to train. You wake up early before you do anything else if you have to. You don’t question it. You don’t have to make any decisions because they’ve already been made.
If you consider yourself a healthy person, you won’t eat junk food. Or at least not on every occasion. You won’t have a hard time not touching those fries the waiter just served you.
Knowing who you are and what defines you is much stronger than having discipline or being motivated. That’s the first step. I’m lucky to have that clear. That’s the basis of my superpower.
