We’re talking about our newest feature — Hello Bar Inline.
This is a feature that allows you to add lead capture
forms and CTAs to your blog posts and other content.
You can customize them to fit the theme and context of your c
ontent and place them within the content. This makes your CTA feel like twitter database native content, which tends to drive more engagement and conversions.
So what exactly is Hello Bar Inline, how can you use it, and why did we decide to come up with this feature?
You can find all these answers and more in this detailed article. Let’s get started.
Why did we build Hello Bar?
It was really hard to create a website in 2012. There we
ren’t endless website building tools, and simple website different types of ctas allow you to track and optimize your marketing strategy modifications were difficult and time-consuming.
At the time, my friend owned a fast-growing digital d
esign and development agency called Digital Telepathy (later renamed Telepathy and acquired by Service Now). The agency’s clients often asked them
to add a way to display announcements on their websites.
E-commerce companies wanted to announce that they had great new products for sale. Software companies wanted to let their customers and prosp
ects know that they had introduced new features. Thought leaders wanted to provide updates on upcoming events or new books or articles they were publishing.
And, well, there was no easy way to do it.
At that point, you would have to get the developer to add something to the site to make such announcements. Or you would have to create a new blog post.
Hello Bar was named that because it was a simple
widget that sat at the top of the page. It was easy to
add to a website, easy to see, and beautifully designed. And it went viral.
Tim Ferris added Hello Bar. Seth Godin added Hello
Bar. Eric Ries added Hello Bar. Ecommerce compa
nies added one. Hundreds of thousands of blogs added one. And pretty singapore data soon Hello Bar was everyw
here you looked.
Over the years, Hello Bar has become well-kno
wn and has spawned many copycats. We’ve been flattered (and sometimes annoyed) by the fact that so many companies have tried to copy what we do. And that’s kept us committed to one thing…
helping great companies and entrepreneurs build better relationships with their website visitors.
